Weddings and Events

Thistle takes a special approach to weddings and events. We like to use the absolute freshest local flowers possible available the day of your event.

The Thistle Way

By letting Thistle pick what is in season (which can vary week by week), and allowing us to use our signature textural and sculptural style, we are able to provide you with truly unique arrangements at the best price possible.  We love picking unique elements to use in our designs, and truly believe in buying local whenever possible.

How We Work

Flowers can make any space feel alive.  We take our role in making the production of a beautiful event look effortless very seriously.  You tell us what you want, and we make it happen, all behind the scenes.  We transition flowers between ceremonies without anyone noticing, and keep out of the way of other vendors while setting up.  And we always clean up (flowers can be quite messy!).  Professionalism runs throughout everything we do.

Budget

By partnering with local growers, and only using flowers in season, we are able to meet any sized budget.  Although floral budgets may vary depending on your special requirements, as a general guide, we find that hosts typically budget approximately 10-15% of their total event cost to flowers.  Every inquiry begins with a consultation followed by a customized quote based on your needs.  Each quote includes a service charge that covers in person consultations, all wedding planner meetings and correspondence, transportation, setting up, and transitioning flowers between events.
